Sian Jones, CEO of Correla, has been selected as a regional finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2023 in the Midlands and Southwest region.
Sian’s illustrious career and in particular her vision behind the creation of Correla have led to this award nomination.
The Entrepreneur of the Year award, hosted by EY, was founded over 30 years ago and now operates globally across 60 countries. The award recognises “entrepreneurial achievement among individuals and companies that demonstrate vision, leadership and success.”
The award will be judged on four areas of the individual and their contributions – Entrepreneurial Spirit, Purpose, Growth and Impact – this includes innovating opportunities to create a better world, investing in attracting, developing and retaining a diverse mix of talent and integrating sustainable Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. Regional winners are due to be announced in September 2023 and will go on to become national finalists for the UK.

Throughout her career, Sian has been synonymous with the development of new customer-centric products and services, the introduction of new technologies, and the implementation of major operational changes. It was this passion for people, processes, technology and data, coupled with her vision and leadership, which resulted in Sian creating a brand-new company in the centre of the energy industry to support the UK’s decarbonisation journey.
