Correla and the People Services team are proud to announce its recent accolade – the Best Health and Well-being Strategy, Large Organisation award presented at the prestigious HR Excellence Awards. Other big names like Arqiva, Biffa, RSPCA, and Suez Recycling and Recovery UK were among the contenders. The judges praised our People Services team for their remarkable achievement in crafting a “super comprehensive and commercial” strategy.

This esteemed award recognises the business’s exceptional approach to developing our HR strategy with meticulous detail and purpose. Commencing with a thorough analysis of business requirements, we strategically divided our offerings into four key areas: mental, physical, financial, and social well-being. The strategy we built and designed to attract talent and remove barriers to employee productivity stood out for its scalability and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our workforce.

Maggie Fox, our Head of People Services, Wellbeing, and Reward at Correla, said, “We are thrilled to receive this award and be recognised for our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our employees. Our strategy is designed to create a positive and supportive work environment that enables our employees to thrive personally and professionally. We believe that investing in our people is not only the right thing to do but also drives business success.”

Our People Services team led the charge by establishing a resource hub for employees to access best practices and new information across the four wellbeing areas. Their engagement extended to collaborating with suppliers and charities in the wellbeing sector, signing up to the Mindful Employer charter, obtaining ISO 45001 for health and safety management, and spearheading a new accreditation, ‘Careers after Babies,’ designed to support new parents.

Our comprehensive list of benefits includes things like:

Mental health support

Flexible hours

Hybrid working

26 weeks of gender-neutral parental leave

Health webinars

Workplace rehabilitation

Financial hardship fund

Menopause support

We have meticulously crafted an inclusive and supportive package complemented by ongoing training and development opportunities to foster employee growth and career advancement.

Our win in the Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy category at the HR Excellence Awards underscores the company’s dedication to cultivating a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring environment for nurturing a passionate workforce.
