What is National Customer Service Week?

The annual celebration is run by the Institute of Customer Service to recognise the importance of exceptional customer service and the vital role it plays. The week-long event takes place 2-6 October 2023 and serves as an opportunity for businesses and organisations across the UK to highlight their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Correla & National Customer Service Week

Correla focuses on customer service every day and during this week we’ll be running specific activities and initiatives to engage, recognise and empower our people to celebrate our commitment to service excellence.

The week will include team-building exercises, focus groups and recognition programs to highlight the value of great customer service and recognise the people delivering it. We will be focusing on a different theme for each day of the week.

National Customer Service Week Events

Monday

The Future of AI Whilst AI has the potential to revolutionise the way we interact with customers, challenges arise when deployed as an alternative to human skills. Our CEO, Sian Jones, will discuss the future role of AI as well as the ethical and social challenges governing AI-powered systems.

Tuesday

Service as a Profession We’ve invited our team to take part in an interactive escape room exercise. The task will be to escape the locked office by finding and answering clues to successfully handle challenging scenarios while delivering excellent customer experience.

Wednesday

Service Recognition Day We’ve asked our people to nominate their ‘customer service heroes’; those colleagues who go above and beyond for their customers. We will be holding an award ceremony to crown our well-deserving winners and recognise their contributions to Correla’s customer service.

Thursday

Driving Sustainable Growth Correla is driving sustainable growth for a simpler, greener energy market; powered by our investment in innovation and passion for customers. Our commitment to sustainability is a driving force behind everything that we do.

Friday

Service with Respect Day We will be hosting a focus group and Q&A session for our people to discuss the topic of service with respect for both our people and customers.
